About Ayscough Hall

The hall is available for hire at a cost of £12 per hour, minimum hire period for one-off bookings is 2 hours. We have a simple kitchen with kettles, tea urn, cups and saucers and tea plates.

There are 72 upholstered chairs, 5 1m square tables, 10 2m trestle tables.

and 8 1.2m trestle tables

The hall is approximately 13.5 meters by 11.5 meters.

There is a raised stage approximately 5.5 meters by 2,8 meters

There are also ladies and gents toilets and cloakrooms.

Ayscough Hall is a popular venue for a wide range of activities for all ages.  There are weekly exercise, fitness and martial arts classes for the broadest age range as well as very popular modern and sequence dance classes, also for young and old. 

The hall was given in trust “for the use of the aged and infirm inhabitants of the borough of Louth without distinction of political, religious or other opinions including use for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.”

The hall has recently undergone a full range of improvements and modernisation.
